MS Society Logo

The MS Society provides services to people with multiple sclerosis and their families. They also fund research to find the cause and cure for this disease. They have a membership of 17,000 and are the only national voluntary organization in Canada that supports both MS research and services. Since their founding in 1948, the core support of the MS Society has been from the thousands of dedicated individuals, companies and foundations in communities across Canada.

The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.

Prostate cancer is a leading cancer in men and the second leading cause of cancer deaths. By understanding the reasons for treatment resistance in advanced prostate cancer and translating that into new products and treatments, the Vancouver Prostate Centre is focused on improving longevity and quality of life for patients in BC, and around the world.

Safe Society Women's Shelter Logo

The Shuswap Area Family Emergency Society (SAFE) was established in 1979 by a group of women in the community who recognized the need for a women's shelter/safe haven for women experiencing violence in the home.

Shuswap Hospital Foundation Logo

The purpose of the Shuswap Hospital Foundation is to accept, manage and disburse funds and properties to the benefit of Shuswap Health Services. This entity includes Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Bastion Place, (a residential care facility) and Community Care Services. Funds are used to help meet the need for priority equipment and facilities that will enhance the care of patients and residents of these health care facilities and services.
